Test methods
Customer-specific test tasks without a standard solution – mechanical, measurement-related or process-specific.
Some test tasks do not fit any standard category: devices with difficult-to-access contacts, variables beyond standard electrical measurements, tests involving pressure, vacuum or media, or processes that combine testing, adjustment and assembly.
MCF develops custom test systems for these cases – from feasibility assessment through mechanical and electrical engineering and software to commissioning. Reusable modules provide the foundation: kiT.X frames, proven measurement modules and our own test software shorten project lead times even for custom solutions.
For comparative methods such as acoustic, haptic or image inspection, work always begins with a feasibility study using real known-good and known-bad reference parts. The test system is only designed once good and bad can be separated reliably by measurement. This prevents stations that work in the laboratory but fail in series production.
Classification
This test method is used in several phases, each with different requirements for system design, automation and documentation.
Whether as a stand-alone test station or part of an integrated concept spanning several lifecycle phases, MCF configures the method for your device, volumes and process environment – including contacting, measurement technology, test software and documentation.
