Test methods
Evaluate initial samples and prototypes using measurement technology – flexible, accessible and quickly adaptable.
At the beginning of a product, there is rarely a finished test sequence. Measurement points, limits and functions change, components are replaced and software revisions change daily. Prototype testing therefore has to be rapidly adaptable above all else.
MCF builds test stations that combine instruments, sources, switching matrices and a simple fixture in one shared, parameterizable sequence. Measurements are captured in a structured way from the outset, creating the data basis for later verification and series testing.
During prototyping, a simple mating connector or probe is often sufficient for contacting, with instruments placed directly on the bench. This is where our test software delivers value: it networks several instruments into a single sequence instead of operating each one separately. Procedures remain reusable and all measurement data is stored and documented immediately.
Classification
This test method is primarily associated with one phase of the product lifecycle.
Whether as a stand-alone test station or part of an integrated concept spanning several lifecycle phases, MCF configures the method for your device, volumes and process environment – including contacting, measurement technology, test software and documentation.
