Test methods
Fully test, evaluate and release the finished product or assembled module at the end of the line.
The end-of-line test is the final stage before delivery. It has to be fast, unambiguous and process-safe without becoming the constraint that determines line cycle time.
MCF develops EOL systems ranging from manual stations to fully automated inline cells: safe contacting, clear operator guidance, pass/fail evaluation, labeling, MES integration and complete archiving of test data linked to the serial number.
An EOL test is rarely purely electrical. Depending on the product, it may also include standards-compliant safety testing, leak testing, force-displacement and haptic measurement, camera or acoustic inspection, and wireless testing in a shielded chamber. Everything runs in one sequence with one result and one marking. Where cycle time requires it, tests are parallelized or distributed across several stations.
Classification
This test method is used in several phases, each with different requirements for system design, automation and documentation.
