Test & Automation
In which physical and technical form a test system is implemented - from compact table test systems to 19" rack systems and portable test units to multiple testers and automated test cells.
The appropriate design of a test system depends heavily on the intended application. The decisive factors include the device under test, the test requirements, the planned number of units, the desired level of automation and the integration into the laboratory, development or production. This creates solutions for different device under test levels: from PCBs to electronic and electromechanical assemblies to complete end devices.
The design is not the actual offer, but rather the appropriate implementation of the test concept - technically, ergonomically and economically tailored to the respective test task.
System designs at a glance
MCF develops and implements test systems in different designs. Which of these is used depends on the testing task, area of application, degree of automation, space conditions, number of units and economic efficiency.

Modular · servicefreundlich · reproduzierbar
Modular test systems with a defined interface to the test fixture, device under test and external system components. Measuring devices, supplies, switching technology, controls, industrial PCs and safety technology are clearly integrated and can be cleanly separated, maintained and replaced if necessary.

Ergonomisch · flexibel · Cobot-fähig
Flexible, ergonomic solution for manual and partially automated testing processes – in the laboratory, development, production and quality assurance. devices under test are inserted, contacted and evaluated manually; If necessary, it can be expanded to include cobots for loading, actuation and removal.

Mobil · transportabel · vor Ort
Compact suitcase, table or device units with measurement, control and interface technology in a transportable design. test engineering can be used exactly where it is needed, regardless of the fixed test location.
Linienintegriert · getaktet · vernetzt
Test systems integrated directly into the production line with automatic feeding, contacting and transfer via conveyor, workpiece carrier or handling system. Testing runs at the line cycle time; results are passed directly to the MES or higher-level controller, and failed parts are automatically rejected.

Handling · Prozesssicherheit · Taktzeit
Combine testing and measurement technology with automated handling, contacting and process integration. Devices under test are automatically positioned, contacted, checked and further processed or sorted depending on the result - designed as a multiple tester if desired.

Skalierung · höherer Durchsatz
Multiple test sockets, contact positions or test fixtures in a common structure. Useful if cycle times are to be reduced, throughput increased or several identical devices need to be tested efficiently under test.
A multiple tester is usually not a separate design, but rather a parallelization concept within a design - such as an automation cell with several test sockets.

Platform
With kiT.X Cell, MCF offers a modular and flexible cell system for modern test systems - from ergonomic table testing stations to automated test cells. In this way, test systems can be adapted to different devices under test, processes and levels of automation without completely redesigning each system.
device under test levels
MCF develops test systems for different device under test levels. Depending on the level, contacting, mechanics, signal connection, security concept and level of automation shift.
Electrical contacting, measurement accuracy, programming and adapter concepts are the focus.
Electronic and electromechanical assemblies – additional mechanics, operation, interfaces and communication.
Complete devices with actuators, sensors, communication and real operating states.
Describe your device under test, testing task and boundary conditions – we will develop the right concept.
