Tap.X – Test Automation Based on OpenTAP
One of the highlights of our exhibition will be the introduction of Tap.X, the modern test automation software platform developed by TapX Software GmbH.
Built on the open-source OpenTAP framework, Tap.X combines an open, extensible architecture with a modern and intuitive user interface.
As an official Tap.X partner, MCF Technologie uses the platform to automate its test systems. Tap.X enables the control and execution of customized test sequences, integration of various measurement instruments and hardware components, and structured collection and analysis of test results.
Its modular architecture supports a wide range of applications, from manually operated test stations to complex, fully automated test systems.
Experience Tap.X for yourself: At three interactive demo stations, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the software hands-on, discover its features, and discuss their individual test automation requirements directly with the developers.
kiT.X – Customized Test Systems with Intelligent Automation
To demonstrate how modern test software and hardware work together, we will present two different test systems based on our modular kiT.X platform.
Manual Amplifier Tester
A test system designed for functional testing of amplifiers. This application demonstrates how complex measurement and test sequences can be efficiently controlled, automated, and documented using Tap.X.
Automated Smart Home Module Tester
A fully automated test system featuring integrated robotic handling. It demonstrates the interaction between automated component handling, test equipment, and software-controlled test sequences.
Both applications highlight how MCF Technologie combines customized hardware solutions with the open Tap.X software platform to create powerful, flexible, and scalable test systems.
